Water Rafting sessions run all year long, taking place on the River Blackwater - River Bann - Sixmilewater & The Boyne; you will be under the supervision of experienced raft guides, who will prepare you to skilfully tackle some of the North's most demanding white water sections. Trips cover up to 6 miles, encountering several grade 2-3 rapids; including the infamous Triple Steps & Big A.
Rafting can be full day or 1/2 day activity for which you will need to arrive at the centre on time, where you will be introduced to the instructors for the day and equipped with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet.
White water rafting is an ideal way to experience the excitement of moving white water - a must for those who enjoy getting wet and love white-knuckle rides. From the tranquil head waters and scenic gorges to the thrills and swims of the thundering, boiling adrenaline pumping white water.
There is a high probability that you will get totally wet!
White water rafting is run on natural rivers and therefore is dependent on water levels in order to run. When the water levels are low, rafters will have the opportunity to run the same river in canoes. When the water levels are very low for rafting then participants will be offered a choice of any of our other Activities.
